What is the project ?

This is part of a wider project across the West of Berkshire to assess what residents currently think about blood test services and their preferences for the future. We'll let you know the findings in due course.

When and what did we ask patients ?

In January 2019 Healthwatch Wokingham spoke to 79 people at Royal Berkshire Bracknell Healthspace to ask them their experience of blood tests. They were asked a series of questions, such as how long they had to wait to be seen, how they rated the service, and if they would prefer to have an appointment or use the existing walk in service.

Which blood testing service did we visit ?

We visited the walk in phlebotomy clinic at the the Healthspace twice, once in the morning from its opening time of 8am, on 21 January, and again on 24 January during its afternoon hours. This is part of a wider project across the West of Berkshire to assess what residents currently think about blood test services and their preferences for the future.

We'll let you know the findings in due course.
